Resize
Resize images in bulk
Apply the same dimensions to a whole set of images at once - product photos, a gallery, a folder of screenshots - and download them together as a ZIP. Aspect ratios are preserved for every file individually.
How to resize images in bulk
- Drop your images onto the upload area, or choose several files at once.
- Choose a width, height or percentage to apply to all of them.
- Watch each file complete.
- Download everything as a ZIP.
Supported formats
This tool accepts JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF, HEIC and TIFF files. Everything is decoded by your own browser, so the formats available depend on what your browser can open - which for HEIC in particular varies between Safari and other browsers.
Because the image is rebuilt from raw pixels, EXIF metadata such as camera details, timestamps and GPS coordinates does not carry into the result. Orientation is applied to the pixels first, so photographs stay the right way up. Embedded colour profiles are also dropped and the output is saved as sRGB, which can shift colours slightly in wide-gamut photographs. Animated files are refused rather than being flattened to a single frame.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Every file is resized by your own browser, however many you add. There is no upload step at all, which is why a batch of 50 photos starts working immediately instead of spending minutes transferring. You can confirm it by watching your browser's network panel while the batch runs: however many files you add, not one of them is transmitted.
Is bulk resizing free?
Yes, with no cap on how many batches you run. Nothing about bulk mode is held back behind a payment.
Do images with different shapes stay correct?
Yes. Setting a width computes each image's height from its own aspect ratio, so portrait and landscape files in the same batch are both handled correctly rather than being stretched to a common shape.
Can I resize and compress at the same time?
Resizing already reduces file size substantially. If you also need a specific quality level, run the batch through the bulk compressor afterwards.
How many images can I resize at once?
Up to 100 per batch, processed a few at a time so that memory use stays under control on every device.
